The Earth Day Regatta, sponsored by Bayou Kayaks, was held on Sunday, April 22nd, Earth Day,on Bayou St. John. The event not only included racing their boat, but students were to design and build their boat out of 80% recyclable material with the focus on plastic bottles.

2012 SCVAF The St. Charles Parish Satellite Center will be hosting their 7th Annual Satellite Center Video & Animation Festival (or SCVAF) on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the St. Charles Parish Professional Learning Center, 12727 HWY 90 in Luling. The Festival will feature work by some of the most creative high school students in our state. Please come out and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the art forms of animation, film and broadcasting.

Garrity Print Solutions Field Experience

Digital Media Team Members from the Satellite Center in Luling participated in a field experience at Garrity Print Solutions in Harahan on Friday, January 20, 2012. Garrity Print Solutions is one of the largest commercial printers in the Southeastern United States and provides it’s customers with a variety of custom printing and mailing solutions.
