The Health Care Exploration and Patient Care courses at the Satellite Center sponsored a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Team Members sold pink links for $1.00 each competing East Bank against West Bank for the title of most pink links sold.  The links were stretched out on the football field at Hahnville High School during the Hahnville/Destrehan football game.  East Bank was the winner of the competition; however the overwhelming support of the community is the true reward.  Team Members raised $2,102.40.  A check was presented to Ms. Anne Bates of the American Cancer Society.
