Interactive Media "Soft Launches" St. Charles Historical Project

On Thursday, December 20th the Interactive Media course held a "soft launch" of a project they have been working on for the past three months with the St. Charles Parish Museum & Historical Association.
This project was meant to help bring St. Charles Parish's history to life through the Association's vision of an online museum for the public. This museum will eventually house videos, pictures, information, stories and much more for people to peruse at their own leisure.
This "soft launch" marks the end of the first phase of the project; building the structure and organizing the existing content into categories for navigation. Although there is a great deal of information that was gathered from the book St. Charles Parish Louisiana: A Pictorial History, much more of this parish's history is still yet to be told and this will be the focus of the next phase of this project.
